Have you ever felt alone online?

This thought of writing about this has been haunting me for quite some time now. And like everything I leave uncompleted, it keeps coming to my mind from time to time until I complete it …the energy spending refuting it exceeds far greater the effort I need to complete it.

So it started again right after having some fun moments with friends online, this idea knocking my mind again. Usually at the wrong time so that I find an excuse to blame myself for procrastinating my writing on medium. A goal I set to improve my technical writing. since the last time I wrote about Data Science in my previous article, it looks like this goal has found refuge under my pillow.

And you know what, after offloading some succulent yam slices with garden egg stews …such delight! My love for Africa just received an ego boost. And as you all know after such a heavy and delicious meal I will say the irresistible sleep is coming similarly to the Game of throne saying “Winter is coming.”

Let’s jump back to the question amidst hundreds of friends connected, Have you ever felt alone online?. I quite remember just like yesterday when Facebook started becoming popular 10 years ago. The feeling and ecstasy of meeting a new connection you just established on Facebook. Yeah, that feeling suddenly subsides just like in an all-new relationship …the Love at first sight some people say.

Yeah right there…But what maintains a relationship after the honeymoon phase? isn’t the act of service? perhaps, maybe or maybe not. It happens that all these social media and will say the virtual way of socializing in our generations is great and very helpful and also in time like this new normal brought by covid19.

But after sometimes working remotely, one starts to miss the interactions a workplace space used to offer and start realizing that staying in the office with a colleague without talking still has some impact on us as human beings. I can’t pinpoint what exactly happens but I can tell the difference. This just emphasizes on my knowledge that human is a visual and social being.

Voila, you are not alone in this. There are a lot of Heros and Loopers who think so as well.

HeroLoop is an upcoming platform that helps you socialize by doing all that has allowed the race to survive till now. the nobility in a pure and selfless act of service.

HeroLoop service allows you to connect with friends and people in your areas through its hero and loop service matching allowing us to help each other in the same neighborhood vicinity.

The technology and the state of art are not to be detailed in these posts. But what I can say is to watch out. I believe this platform will not compete with existing social media platforms but rather complete them.

Be a Hero today!
